Venue

The track is constructed from concrete, 285.7m (3-1/2 laps per kilometer) around and banked to 42°. It was completed in 1989 for the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Access to the center of the track is via a tunnel.

From the south...

  • Exit the Southern Motorway at Manukau City
  • Turn right onto Great South Road
  • Turn right into Te Irirangi Road
  • Cross over the motorway
  • Turn left into the entrance marked Manukau Sports Bowl
  • Turn left at the first roundabout

From the north...

  • Exit the Southern Motorway at Te Irirangi Road, Manukau City
  • Turn left onto Te Irirangi Rd
  • Turn left into the entrance marked Manukau Sports Bowl
  • Turn left at the first roundabout
